011. We accept the Genesis account of creation, and thus rest in it. It reads as follows;

Chapter 1.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the water.3. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.  4. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

 6. And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. 7. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. 8. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

 9. And God said. Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. 10. And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good. 11. And God said. Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. 12. And the earth  brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 13. And the evening and the morning were the third day.

14. And God said. Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days, and years; 15. And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth; and it was so. 16. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day and  the lesser light to rule the night; he made the stars also. 17. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth. 18. And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness; and God saw that it was good. 19. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

20. And God said. Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. 21. And God created great whales, and every living creature that that moveth which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind and every winged fowl after his kind; and God saw that it was good. 22. And God blessed them, saying. He fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. 23. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

24. And God said. Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind; and it was so. 25. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind; and God saw that it was good. 26. And God said. Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.. 27. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him;  male and female created he them. 28. And God blessed them, and God said unto them . Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. 29. And God said.. Behold. I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. 30. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat; and it was so. 31. and God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Chapter 2.

Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. 2. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. 3. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it; because that in it he had rested from all his work which God  created and made.

4. These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens. 5. And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew; for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth and there was not a man to till the ground.

6. But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. 7. and the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. 8. And the :LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden. and there he put the man whom he had formed. 9. And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. 10. And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads. 11. The name of the fist is Pison; that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah. where there is gold; 12. And the gold of that land is good; there is bdellium and the onyx stone. 13. And the name of the river is Gihon; the same is that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia. 14. And the name of the third river is Hiddekel; that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates. 15. And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

16. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat; 17. But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it; for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. 18. And the LORD God said. It is not good that the should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. 4 19. And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them; and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

20. And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. 21. And the LORD God cause a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept; and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22. And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man. made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23. And Adam said. This is now bone of my bones. and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife; and they shall be one flesh. 25. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

Furthermore;

We believe and trust in the writings of the 1holy men of God who were often moved by the 2Holy Spirit, 3to write about creation.

Matthew 7. 12. Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them, for this is the law and the prophets. Romans 13. 10. 1Love worketh no ill to his neighbor, therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

020. 1] We believe the law is the do’s and the don’ts, given to the house of Israel by God through his servant Moses. John 1. 17.

020. 2] We believe the curses which were given together with the law, were the promised penalties which would be inflicted upon those who failed to keep the law. Deuteronomy 28.15-68.

020. 3] We believe the blessing which were promised together with the giving of the law, were promises of good things to come as a reward for the keeping of the law. Deuteronomy 28. 1-14.

020. 7] We believe the righteousness of the law is God’s righteousness for man identified. Romans 3. 21,  8. 4.

020. 8] We believe the law did not have with it a way nor the power whereby it could bring about spiritual rebirth in the man of flesh.  Galatians 3. 21.

020. 9] We believe the law was brought in as a teacher to prepare the man of flesh for the one who would be able to bring the righteousness of the law alive in them. That one is Christ whom the word of God refers to as the Messiah.  Galatians 3. 23-25.

020.10] We believe and rest in the following; All men lie in sin because of Adam’s transgression. There was nothing that the man of flesh did to be in transgression. The law came and by the law sin was imputed to all men. So all men would stand guilty before God.  Romans 5. 1-21 [v19].   So to; All believers in Christ are righteous, because of the righteousness of Christ. There was nothing that the believer did nor could do the become the righteousness of God in Christ, Christ came and by the entry of Christ righteousness was imputed to all those who believed, so that believers would stand justified before God. [ So it is today, it is believing that saves, and it is disbelieving that sends to hell . Romans 5. 1-21 [v19].

020. 11] We believe it is God who made all men guilty before him, and it is God who alone will justify the repenting man, to stand free of guilt before him. Romans 11. 32.

020. 12] We believe 1to repent it is needful that a man know clearly who he is, a sinner before God, and that he comes from this position asking God the Father to be forgiven for sins beyond Adam’s transgression, and for the 2sending of the Spirit of  his Son Jesus into his heart to come in to direct his life.

027. 4] We believe 1the responsibility to bring the gospel of Christ to the world around us rests on every Christian . 2We believe the Holy Spirit is very very capable of using all of God’s vessels regardless of age or capacity. An 11 year old boy surrendered his life to the Lord during a camp meeting, arriving at home he prayed before going to sleep, his mother had never heard her son pray, her curiosity brought her this answer from her young new born son, “Mom you must ask Jesus to come into your heart,” three weeks later both his mother and his older brother surrendered their lives to the Lord. Let us never under estimate the capacity of the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit in us. We believe the newness of a regenerated spirit does not hamper the Holy Spirit. We believe the Holy Spirit can use even the most spiritually new to promote the work of God.

029. 12]We believe the Christian has not been given a spirit of fear, but of power, the power to the Holy Ghost, and of love, the love of the Father, and of a sound mind, the mind of Christ, and thus there is no need for him to live in fear. The word of God teaches that the wicked run even when no one is pursuing, but the righteous are bold as a lion.

030. 2] We believe the activities which God has approved for the local churches are as follows; 1. It is to be a house of prayer. 2. It is to be a place where the body can praise God through music and song. 3. It is to be a place where the word of God can be preached to the edifying and the building of the body. 4. It is to be a place where the body can meet at the Lord’s table. 5. It is to be a place where new converts can be baptized. 6. It is to be a place where wedding ceremonies can be held. 7. It is to be a place where funeral services can be held. 8. It is to be a place from where world outreach can take place. 9. It is to be a place where the body can come for counsel.

1] Matthew 4. 4.

Matthew 25. 31-46.

1] Ephesians 5. 11.

030. 5] We believe 1a true witness delivers souls. We believe there is no better starting point for anyone, then to have the opportunity to 2raise ones children in the ways of God. We believe it is this which can take the ways of God from generation to generation. Furthermore, raising ones own children in the ways of God, is in fact a preparatory school for the parent, equipping him or her, 3so they can be true witnesses in the world around them both during and after the raising of their children.. Our attitude at best is, it should be treated as such. It is the intention of the association to be labor this vital point.

030. 7] We believe 1God has by his word delivered to the local church a guideline telling the body in what manner it is to conduct itself and  in what manner it is to run the affairs of the church.

1] 1. Corinthians 14. 40.

030.7- 1. We believe 1God has given to the church a set of guidelines which set the stage for democratic rule under an autocratic head.

1] Numbers 11. 15, 17.

030.7-2. We believe 1Christ the King of kings and Lord of lords to be 2the autocratic head of the church, 3having the keys to heaven and to hell, 4with every member standing equal before him, 5gifted by the Holy Spirit in such a manner that the entire body can function as a single unit.

1] Acts 14. 23.

Titus 1. 5, 9.

030.7-4. We believe the third guideline is, 1to appoint deacons, with their primary duty to oversee the physical needs of the church.

031. We believe 1baptism means to be buried, as Christ was buried following his death.

1] 1. Corinthians 15. 53.

031. 3] We believe 1through the operation of faith Christians go through the death  and resurrection of the Son of man with the Son of man, 2bringing about the death of the old sinful man and the rebirth of the new spiritual man.

1] Colossians 2. 12.

Ephesians 2. 8.

2] Romans 6. 11.

031. 4] We believe 1water baptism is a ordinance to be kept, and that this ordinance is to mirror before the people what has taken place in our lives, namely we were buried with Christ in his death, and as Christ, we were raised up from the dead 2to walk in newness of life.

1] Acts 8. 28-38.

2] Romans 6. 4.

031. 5] We believe 1water baptism by full immersion best mirrors burial. However we are not adverse to the exercise of sprinkling for those who cannot be immersed due to their physical condition.

1] Matthew 3. 16.

Acts 8. 38.

031. 6]We believe neither baptism by immersion nor the practice of sprinkling has anything to do with the salvation of man. 1It is believing in the Son of God that saves, and not believing in the Son of God that condemns.

1] John 5. 24.

031. 7] We believe children who are to young to believe in the Son of God stand innocent  before God.  We believe, should they die, they would follow 1the son of  king David and Bathsheba who died in his seventh day.

1] 2. Samuel 12. 18, 23.

Hebrews 11. 32, 39-40.

031. 8] We believe 1Jesus gave to us a set way and a full example in how to remember his death. We rest in the following;

1] 1. Corinthians 11. 23b-26. The Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread 24 and when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, take, eat; this is my body, which is broken for you; this do in rememberance of me, 25 after the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood, this do as oft as ye drink it, in rememberance of me. 26 for as often as ye eat this bread and drink this cup ye do show the Lord’s death till he comes.

031. 9]  We believe the following about 1the sabbath; the word sabbath means rest, or to cease from labouring, in today’s language, to take a day away from work.  We believe there are only two things which have been changed from the time that is was put into effect. However, we believe these changes have not and do not interfere with the purpose of it. They are 1. The day of rest has been moved to the first day of the week, this does not conflict with the basic principal to work six and to rest one. 2. The form of worship, and of sacrifice, and of offerings has been replaced by new forms designed to glorify God the Father through Christ Jesus his Son.

We believe Christian married couples are co-laborers in Christ and have been called to , first, love one another, and secondly, to support each other, the wife the husband in his position in their union as ordained by God, and the husband the wife in her position in their union as ordained by God.

1] 1. Corinthians 3. 9.

John 13. 34.

032. 1] We believe 1christian parents are co-laborers in Christ and 2called first and foremost to the task of raising their children in the nurture and the admonition of the Lord.

032. 2]We believe that 1service to God outside of the Christian family should never overshadow the the needs of the family to the point where the family unit suffers. We believe however, as the duties within the family diminish, they should increase outside of the family.

1] Job 4. 17-21.

2] 1. Corinthians 1. 29.

033 1] We believe God has given to the Christian how to dress standards, and we believe we should abide by those standards. 1For men it is men’s clothes, and for women it is women’s clothes. These clothes we believe should be such that would not allow flesh to glory in God’s presence.

034. We believe 1churches of like faith and practices are to be embraced, comforted and helped as God wills.

1] Galatians 6. 10.

2. Corinthians 11. 8.

034. 1] We believe churches who stray from the doctrines of Christ are to be treated in the same manner a member of the body is to be treated when he or she strays and insists on doing things his or her own way. 1That treatment is , have nothing to do with them.

Galatians 6. 2-10.

035. We believe the devil is extremely busy these day promoting himself by offering to mankind those things which only God can deliver. The first is 1peace through false religions. We believe the simplest way to identify them is by the way they are to reach peace, most, and we dare say all are by works and not by faith. “ 2For by grace through faith are we saved and that not of ourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast, for we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

1] 1. Thessalonians 5. 3.

Isaiah 48. 22.

Jeremiah 6. 14.

2] Ephesians 2. 8-10.

035. 1] We believe the Devil is every bit as busy on another front, that is , 1Bringing false teachings into the very body of Christ, the church.  We believe as a body we need to be extremely observing regarding this matter and more, 2to bring such a problem to the forefront so that it can be dealt with effectively.

1] Matthew 7. 15.

2. Peter 2. 1-22.

Colossians 2. 8.

2] Philippians 3. 15-20.

Romans 16. 17.

035. 2] We believe the Devil’s third front is his work in the public school system. That work is to get children to look to him for help, the process- to call on spiritual mediums for help through channeling, also called conjuring up devils. We believe this may result in a myriad of exorcisms in the future, as these children try to run from them to be with God. We believe the church should prepare itself for this.

1] 1. Samuel 28. 7.

Luke 8. 27-39.

Luke 22. 3.

035. 3] We believe there is a fourth front where Satan is doing a lot of damage, that is the occult, Heaven’s gate the most recent example. It is our belief that every occult group needs to be exposed to world.

Rev. 19. 20.

035. 4] We Believe the fifth front and a very aggressive front where the Devil is working extremely hard, with little opposition is to give the world his alternative church. This work we believe is running neck and neck with what we believe to be another dramatic front of his and that is the establishment of a one world government, so that he can fulfill his dream, that is 1to rule the world.

1] Daniel 7. 14.

Revelations 21. 10.

035. 6] We believe there will come a time when all those on earth will have the same belief, but it will not be in Satan, 1 it will be in the Son of God, the Lord of lords and the King of kings.

1] Revelations 22. 3.

035. 7] We believe as soldiers for Christ we are not called to war against flesh and blood, that is man. But rather to give ourselves to the saving of them from the snare of the Devil, the ruler of darkness. Ephesians 6. 12. We rest in these words of Christ “ The Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them” Luke 9. 56.

036. We believe 1Christians are advised not to judge their brothers and sisters, we believe the reason behind this is, the Holy Spirit works in them at levels tailored to suit them as individuals. Recognizing this, we can see why Jesus said by judging, you judge the law, that is judging his work. We believe Jesus reminds such that he is the Judge and that there is only one judge, and so to refrain from judging one another.

037 We believe 1self defense was more than frowned upon by Jesus, 2he also demonstrated it for the man of this world whom he loved and came to die for.  We believe 3as he endured sufferring, and as he forgave, so we too, are called to suffer and to forgive.

038. We believe and rest in the following;  “Vengeance is mine, I will repay saith the Lord.” Romans 12. 19.

039. Regarding war, we believe the following;

1] We are commanded to love one another. 1 John 4. 7.

2] We are commanded not to have anything to do with the the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. Ephesians 5. 11.

3] We are commanded to pray for our enemies. Matthew 5. 43, 44.

4]We are commanded not to lean of the arms of flesh. Jeremiah 17. 5.

5] We are commanded to obey God rather than men. Acts 5. 29.

6] We are commanded to follow Christ and his examples, to turn the cheek. to put down the sword, to lay down our lives, not for flesh, but for the souls of man. We rest in the words of Christ to his apostles when said “ Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?” Matthew 5. 38-42, Matthew 26. 51, 52, 1. Peter 4. 1, 2.

7] We are commanded to follow Christ and his examples. from the following words we understand that killing does not save. “ I came not to judge the world, but to save the world” John 12. 47.

8] We rest in these words of Christ. “ As my Father hath sent me, so send I you.” John 20. 21.

9] We believe 1this world being under the power of Satan, misleads, if not, we surely would not have needed Christ. We are told, we are not of this world as Christ is not of the world. and not to participate in the evil activities of this world  2 We are told that the whole world lies in wickedness, many of it’s rulers would have us believe flesh and blood is our enemy, not so, the bible teaches “ 3We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world. against spiritual wickedness in high place. In simple words. against the arch enemy of God, Satan and his fallen angels. 1. Acts 26. 18. 2. 1. John 5. 19. 3. Ephesians 6. 12.   32

10] Killing is Satan’s business, and he is using men to do his dirty work. We believe and rest in these words of Jesus “ the thief , that is Satan, cometh not.but for to steal, and to kill and to destroy. I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10. 10.

11] Satan is a killer on the loose, and a prowler at that, he is a spirit that can posses men. He possessed Judas and had Jesus killed. What did he do with Judas? He stuck with Judas until he hung himself, than left him to maraud elsewhere. 1. Peter 5. 8.  Luke 22. 3. Matthew 27. 3-5.  So he leaves the man of war, many thorn to shreds over those they killed, and so he leaves the killed to lay in the dust, a victor over yet another poor soul.

12] The bible teaches, be not ignorant of the Devil’s devices. 2. Corinthians 2. 11.  Luke 22. 31, Matthew 10. 16.

13] Who is our enemy? Not man, but Satan and his angels.  John 10. 10.

14]  What are the world’s weapons? Objects that kill, there many, we have only one comment. They are becoming more and more gruesome.  What is our weapon? Does our weapon kill? No. It saves. Our weapon is the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, Ephesians 6. 17 . By it we convince men to come out of the snare of the Devil. 2. Timothy 2. 24-26.

15] We rest in these words- Hebrews 4. 12. “The word of God is quick and powerful. and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

16] We are instructed to do good to all men, this simple instruction came to us by the Holy Spirit, the same Spirit which gave to the Son of man the strength to obey his Father and to stick to doing the Father’s business, even if it meant to be killed in the process for going against the rulers of that day.  We believe this same Spirit, which we have, will not lead us into war, but will give to us the strength to obey and to stick to doing our Father’s business, that is reconciling men unto God in Christ’s stead even if it means to be killed in the process for going against those who would have us go to kill God’s people albeit lost.  Galatians 6. 10. Acts 7. 60.

040. We believe 1there is a war on the horizon, it is known as the battle of Armageddan. We believe this war will be the last war man will experience. In it, we believe, the enemies of God will be destroyed, and that by God’s intervention.

041.1] We believe it is necessary  that we follow the advice given to the Hebrews,it is, therefore leaving the principals of the doctrine of Christ let us go on unto  perfection. Hebrews 6. 1.

CEC CANADA IS INTENT ON NOT LETTING PEOPLE SIT IN THE DARK.

Most people gasp when they first see this statement of faith, and say why so long? The answer is rather simple, it is, if the people of the Jones Town massacre, the Heaven’s gate and such like would have known that they would end up dead, it is not likely that they would have joined them it the first place. And so CEC CANADA is committed to leave no one in the dark. Our style is to set before people biblical truths, with hope that they will examine the things they are into. Example: If I know that a person is into worshipping a 1wooden god, My statement must read: We believe and rest in the words of God found in Isaiah chapter 45 verse 5, it reads: I am the LORD , and there is none else, there is no God beside me. Furthermore we believe that God is an invisible Spirit. see statement of faith number 005.
