CEC Canada’s statement on Education.

Christian Education is teaching children that all things are to be done as unto God, this CEC Canada narrows down to three things, godly life, godly living, and godly service. CEC Canada’s focus in these few words is on godly service. Service we narrow down to two areas, the first is being light in the world, and the second is being salt in the earth. Light: The best way to confirm this we turn to the calling of the Apostle Paul, Acts 26: 18 which tells the Apostle that his place would be to turn Gentiles from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God. Salt: This is being involved in the preservation of mankind as a whole. God tells us that his rain falls on the just and the unjust, this is called the common grace of God. God who is gracious says to us, Galatians 6: 10. As we have therefore opportunity let us do good unto all men. He also says, James 4: 17. He that knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin. CEC Canada’s place in all this has been established, the work it is called to in relationship to being Light in the world is to raise evangelists, preachers, teacher, pastors and administrators, the second work CEC Canada is called to, is related to being Salt in the earth, the activities are to raise servants who will give themselves to being involved in supplying the needs of people, the industries are food, clothing, shelter, education, health services, protection and security. What this means for CEC Canada is raising the professionals and the workers that it takes to come through for God and for people.
As the President of CEC Canada I hold the responsibility to inform the citizens of Canada. On education, there are no more poignant words that drive home the importance of education then those of the Prophet Hosea, these stick as goads in the sides of CEC Canada, chapter 4: 6. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you, so that you shall be no priest to me: seeing you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children. Not having the knowledge of God we most certainly would be useless to Him. First and foremost it is his will that we get to know him, and that we glorify Him. Jeremiah 9: 23, 24.

The first admonition to teach our children came early in the life of Israel, later it would be laid upon us to teach our children. And last he would lay it upon his servants study and to show themselves to be approved before God.
Israel: And you shall teach them diligently unto your children:
Deuteronomy 6: 1. Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that you might do them in the land whither you go to possess it: 2. That you might fear the LORD your God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command you, your sons, and your son’s sons, all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged. 3. Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with you, and that you may increase mightily, as the LORD God of your fathers has promised you, in the land that flows with milk and honey. 4. Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: 5. And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. 6. And these words, which I command you this day, shall be in your heart: 7. And you shall teach them diligently unto your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in you house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up. 8. And you shall bind them for a sign upon your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.

Parents: Train up a child in the way he should go:
The Apostle Paul instructs Timothy and then, confirms the value of God’s word. 2 Timothy 3: 14. But continue in the things which you have learned and have been assured of, knowing of whom you have learned them; 15. And that from a child you have known the holy scriptures, which are able to make you wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17. That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
Scripture support for the teaching of the young:
Proverbs 22: 6. Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Ephesians 6: 4. And you fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
Genesis 18: 17. And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do. 18. Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? 19. For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he has spoken of him.

The Servant of the Lord: Study to show yourself approved unto God:
God gifts for the perfecting of the saints. Ephesians 4: 11. And gave some, apostles; and some prophets; and some, evangelists, and some, pastors and teachers; 12. For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13. Till we all come into the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: 14. that we henceforth be no more children tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive. 15. But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head even Christ.
Scripture support: 2 Timothy 2: 15. Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

 2 Peter 1: 2.
Grace and peace are multiplied unto us through
the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord.
Romans 5: 21.
Grace reigns through righteousness
unto eternal life
by Jesus Christ our Lord,
the one that said,
Matthew 18: 5.
And whoso shall receive one such
little child in my name shall receive me.
6. But whoso shall offend one of these
little ones which believe in me,
it were better for him that a millstone
 were hanged about his neck,
and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

It is true that we would all like to see our children live happy lives. It is also true that God has afforded all of us to do our part to make this happen, even if it is only prayer; Yet to those who have much, Jesus says, of them much is required, and of those men who have committed much, of them they will ask the more. Luke chapter 12: 1 - 59, verse 48, --------For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall much be required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. As a young man a time when I knew little, these words put a great fear into my heart, causing me to believe that I would not be able to follow through with what these words called for, but not any more, the words that gave to me the courage to move ahead with God without fear of what he might expect of me were these, 1 John 5: 3. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandment are not grievous. When we know that God is a God that does not lie, not when we hear, but when we know, we begin to search the scriptures for support, we do so for the want of confirmation, something that says the same, enlightenment, to give us the wider picture, and encouragement to move ahead: My encouragement to say yes were these Holy Ghost inspired words of King David Psalm 19: 1 - 14, v7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. 8. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. 9. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever, the judgments of the LORD  are true and righteous all together. 10. More to be desired are they then gold, yea, then much fine gold; sweeter also them honey and the honeycomb. 11. Moreover by them is your servant warned; and in keeping of them there is great reward. (After these words King David fell into prayer praying) 12. Who can understand his errors? cleanse me from secrets faults. 13. Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression. 14. Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in your sight O LORD, my strength, and my Redeemer.
The strongest warning God gave to me had to do with taking my hands off the plow, it could not have been a stronger warning then the one he gave through the parable of the un-profitable servant Matthew chapter 25: 1 - 46. God after equipping Moses had him say to Israel, Dueteronomy 30: 19. I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing, therefore choose life, that both you and your seed may live.

God had me look at the world through his eyes, he did so to convince me that his request to have me involved in the Education of the Young of Canada was not an unreasonable one. To confirm the need for disciples God took me to the edge of hell, here he made me see the desperate need for those willing to be involved in the reconciliation of men, women, and children back unto God, 2 Corinthian 5: 17 - 20. He in his lovingkindness and mercy encouraged me to put my hands on the plow, and to keep them on the plow and never to look back. Jesus tell us Luke 9: 62 the man that puts his hand on the plow, and looking back, is not fit for the kingdom of God.

 The joy of the Lord:

The joy that Christ wants us to experience can only be found in the keeping of his commandments. My response to Philippians 2: 13, which reads - “For it is God which works in you both to will and do of his good pleasure” was, This is what I want, from this I knew that he wanted to have me involved in his will and that he wanted me to share his good pleasure while doing so. God did not leave me without the knowledge that supports Philippians 2: 13, knowledge that would detail my involvement in his will and the pleasure that goes with it; the joy of the Lord. John 15: 1 - 16, 11. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
King David closes Psalm 16: 11 with these words “You will show me the path of life: in your presence is fulness of joy; at your right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
CEC Canada not only looks to the members of the Alumni for support, it anticipates that members will support a calling that is ranked as number one in the heart of God, the education of his children. To this end then CEC Canada will keep the membership informed.

Giving has rewards: The best is the unexpected rewards, here is how to get them. Matthew 6; 1. Take heed that you do not your alms before men to be seen of them: otherwise you have you no reward of your Father which is in heaven. 2. Therefore when you do your alms, do not sound a trumpet as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 3. But when you do alms, let not your left hand know what your right hand is doing. 4. That your alms may be in secret: and your Father which sees in secret himself shall reward you openly. The apostle Paul instructs Romans 12: 8-----he that gives let him do it with simplicity; Jesus says Luke 14: 8. For whosoever exalts himself shall be abased; and he that humbles himself shall be exalted.
CEC Canada’s first project is to build and or acquire a building which will house its Head Office and its Staff  Orientation and Training Centre, while this is going on CEC Canada will lease property to accommodate the same. The Centre would be used to teach and to train CEC Canada’s Directors, Governors, Leaders, Managers, Ministers, and their support staff in the ways of CEC Canada. The estimated cost of the land and equipped building stands at approximately $9,835,000,followed by the The way prices have risen since these figures CEC Canada has decided to make this project and cost plus project, it is expected that the overruns could easily be as high as 30%. The budget is available upon request to both investors and General contractors. To request please Email : jacob@cecccanada.com.

The secondary use of the facility:
The use of the facility extends beyond CEC Canada training its own people, it is designed to serve other same faith organizations, in this sense it becomes a school, as such a revenue avenue to help pay for and to maintain the centre.  For more information see “The Viability of CEC Canada”

To qualify as member you must be a born again Christian who has presented his body as a living sacrifice to God. John 3: 5 - 7, and Romans 12: 1, 2.
